The Dearest Child (teaser video)

I am currently in the making of my photo book which planned to be filled with photos and poems. Two days ago I did the number-what photo shoot with Sari Ahimsa Prameswari and here, presented by yours truly, the very first teaser

I stayed at Nyon's house for two days and had some fun there, along with her housemate, Sarah Danita! Sarah is this reckless young woman who has an amazing taste in music (Edith Piaf!) and literature (The Curious Incident of Dog in the Night Time!). Yet, i did not have much joyful time with her cat, Mon. He was such an annoying cat, with his high sexual vibrant which lead to his behaviour to scratch my thighs and Nyon's chest. In addition to all of these, a matchstick stucks in human form, named Enat came to Nyon's house to meet me and give me some films. Pong.

a short trip to Jakarta

Last week, i had a trip to Jakarta which was counted as part of the job and holiday at the same time. I met some new people there, went to new places, bought new books which won't be sold here (Lula Magazine, Inzanesville, Boys of My Youth, etc.) and had some good mood (as an additional). Also I did a little self - project with Sari Ahimsa Prameswari, went to i-don't-know-where-the-hell-those-places-were with Agam and his friend, Sahal, stayed in Nyon's house for a couple of days, went to RuRu, hang out with Sari Ahimsa that I've been missed for ages, and finally met Enat/Enad?, a matchstick stucks in a human form. Everything was purrfect (since I've met so many cats there), jolly, and technicolor. It was a bomb! Thank you, everyone I've met there! :)

I know many people loathe you and think you're just another sensational whore who doesn't have much love inside. But, no... I think you're a girl with soft lacy heart made of velveteen. I could not imagine how your sadness boomed to the sky, yet no one could not realize it. Your every fragile word utters a heartbreaking tune and makes me melt inside, knowing you speak my mind. Your every angry word screams a deep girl angst from a sensitive hearted one. Your songs had helped me through a lot of sorrow. You helped me cry when I felt like I had no more tears left, you helped me scream when I felt like no one understood me. Grrl, you feel me. I love you. Please, keep strong, keep sobber, keep beautiful... for yourself and for Frances.

Can you tell us more about yourself?
I'm an 18 year old girl who accidentally becomes a student and fall in love with a lot of thing I've captured. I spend my days by walking around in my town, taking pictures, eating ice cream, going to flea market, currently working on my book and a little bit of college stuff.

What makes you interested in photography?

At the earlier years, I was just interested to document my own life, what i felt, my friends and everything around me. But, lately it has been a media to make my imagination comes true. 

What's the story behind these pictures?

I took pictures of Kenjeran, the beach which has a gorgeous sunrise view and a big park, along side the beach, with the horses too. Also, pictures of Blauran, a small amusement park, Kebun Bibit with the deers, c2o Library and also Zangrandi Ice Cream.

Who are your favorite photographers?

Tim Walker, Juergen Teller, Larry Clark, also Corrine Day and Sophia Coppola for their pictures in The Virgin Suicide's photo book.

Your favorite place, so far?

Madura! There are forest,  small limestone mountains and the sea along side its path, which would be such a magic moment if you see it from the mountains area.

What makes you fall in love at the first time you come into a place?

The people and the sky! I would definetely fall in love with an ecstatically wondrous sky view in a place.

What's the signature of your pictures?

I think somehow I keep on changing in this four years of photography But, what mostly pop out in my pictures are a glimpse of sun ray, over exposure and flowers!

Next project?

I'm currently doing a photo book with poems and short prose. Of course, there are still many photo shoots I want to do.
